Drew Barrymore Calls Adam Sandler Her Best Onscreen Kiss, Praises Their "True Admiration"

Drew Barrymore is celebrating her long-standing onscreen chemistry with Adam Sandler!

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the actress and talk show host, 49, revealed that her favorite onscreen kiss is none other than Sandler, 58. The duo has starred together in three beloved rom-coms: The Wedding Singer (1998), 50 First Dates (2004), and Blended (2014).

Barrymore explained that what she and Sandler bring to the screen goes beyond typical romantic chemistry. "I love that Adam Sandler and I are so platonic," she said. "We never dated—his wife, Jackie, is my dear friend. But I love being in films with him because we represent something bigger than just hot, sexual chemistry. We represent true admiration of another person."

Their friendship has lasted decades, with Barrymore telling Entertainment Tonight in early 2024 that they "text all the time" and "see each other frequently."

While Barrymore has been one of Sandler’s longtime leading ladies, Jennifer Aniston has also starred alongside him multiple times, including in Just Go With It (2011), Murder Mystery (2019), and Murder Mystery 2 (2023). Aniston even joked about teaming up with Barrymore to "put an end to this competition" over who has worked with Sandler the most.
