Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds Spark Buzz at 'SNL' 50th Anniversary Amid Legal Battle

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were the talk of the night at 'Saturday Night Live's 50th-anniversary celebration, but not just for their star power. Their ongoing legal fight with actor and director Justin Baldoni had many guests at the event buzzing, TMZ reports.

Mixed Reactions from Guests

According to three sources, some Hollywood stars at the event were surprised to see Blake and Ryan there. Many were confused about why they showed up while embroiled in a legal dispute over the movie It Ends With Us. The lawsuit includes accusations of smear campaigns from both sides, and Blake has alleged that Justin sexually harassed her on set.

One source at the taping said the celebrity couple was "the talk of the entire evening," and some guests even avoided them. Another overheard someone at the after-party questioning why they attended at all.

Fans Show Support

Despite the backstage chatter, fans outside 'SNL' were thrilled to see Blake and Ryan. As they arrived at 30 Rock, people cheered from behind barricades.

Inside, they had friendly exchanges with other celebrities. Blake was seen chatting with Dakota Johnson, while the couple also mingled with Woody Harrelson as they waited for the red carpet. They stayed in the studio for an hour after the show, taking selfies and mingling with the cast and crew.

No After-Party for the Couple

While many stars moved on to the after-party, Blake and Ryan skipped the event. They left the studio alongside Paul McCartney and went home, citing the late hour.

Interestingly, a source close to the couple claimed Justin Baldoni’s name never came up in their conversations that night. However, their presence at the 'SNL' celebration certainly didn't go unnoticed.
