Ben Affleck Scores Courtside Seats and a Special Steph Curry Moment with Son Samuel

Ben Affleck had a winning night at the Lakers game on Thursday, earning some serious Dad Points in the process. Not only did he and his son, Samuel Garner Affleck, score prime courtside seats—better than even Vice President Kamala Harris—but they also got a special visit from NBA superstar Steph Curry.

The father-son duo had front-row views as the Los Angeles Lakers faced off against the Golden State Warriors. Samuel, rocking a LeBron James jersey, was all in on the action, cheering excitedly as his favorite players battled it out.

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, were seated much farther back—around 50 rows deep—watching the game with regular fans. Still, the VP didn’t seem to mind, smiling as she cheered for her beloved Warriors.

Hollywood stars Olivia Wilde and Zach Galifianakis were also in the crowd for the high-energy matchup, which ended with a 120-112 win for the Lakers.

The highlight of the night for Affleck and his son, though, came after the game when Steph Curry took a moment to stop by and chat. The sweet father-son moment definitely gave the Gone Girl star some extra credit in the “Dad of the Year” department.

Despite his usual aversion to the paparazzi—TMZ recently reported he’s considering a move to escape the spotlight—Affleck didn’t seem to mind the cameras capturing this special night with his son.
