Aubrey Plaza Makes First Public Appearance Since Husband’s Tragic Passing

Aubrey Plaza returned to the public eye for the first time since the heartbreaking loss of her husband, Jeff Baena, who died by suicide earlier this year.

The actress appeared at the "Saturday Night Live" 50th anniversary special on Sunday night, where she introduced a musical performance by Miley Cyrus and Brittany Howard. This marked her first public appearance since Jeff’s passing in early January.

Plaza was originally scheduled to present at the Golden Globe Awards just days after Jeff’s death but understandably chose not to attend.

Authorities responded to the couple’s Los Angeles-area home in early January after an assistant found Jeff deceased. Following the tragedy, Aubrey and Jeff’s family released a statement expressing their gratitude for the support they had received, while also requesting privacy during this difficult time.
