Pauline Chalamet, Timothée Chalamet’s sister, has sparked speculation about her stance on billionaires, particularly following recent posts that seem to criticize extreme wealth and the tax system. Last year, the actress, known for her role in The Sex Lives of College Girls, shared a tweet from Democratic politician Melanie D’Arigo, which questioned the fairness of tax laws for billionaires. The tweet read: “If your job requires a college degree, you should be able to write off your student loan payments as a business expense the way CEOs write off their private jets and yachts for jobs that require neither.”

Fans quickly pointed out that the message seemed to target individuals like Kylie Jenner, the makeup mogul and Timothée’s girlfriend. Kylie, who owns a private jet and leads Kylie Cosmetics, has frequently faced criticism for her environmental impact due to her CO2 emissions.

More recently, Pauline made headlines again after resharing a tweet from Bernie Sanders, in which the politician condemned the influence of billionaires in politics. Her caption expanded on Sanders' thoughts, stating, “Our system is so flawed that it allows billionaires to exist and accrue so much money and BARELY pay (and sometimes NOT PAY) ANY ANY ANY TAXES. This should not be possible. Billionaires do not need to exist."

While the post was deleted shortly after, it reignited speculation about Pauline’s views on Kylie’s wealth, especially given the long-standing rumors about the Chalamet family’s political leanings.

Despite the chatter, Timothée and Kylie seem unaffected by the controversy. The couple was last seen in Paris on January 16, where Timothée was promoting his new biopic, A Complete Unknown. The pair shared a cozy evening at the upscale Bar Des Prés, enjoying wine and dinner together. Just two weeks prior, they also attended the Golden Globes in Los Angeles, further proving they’re unbothered by the online noise surrounding them.
