Meghan Markle Delays Netflix Show to Support California Wildfire Relief Efforts

Meghan Markle has postponed the release of her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, to focus on helping Californians affected by devastating wildfires. The streaming platform announced the decision on Sunday, confirming that the highly anticipated show will now premiere on March 4, 2025.

The Duchess of Sussex requested the delay, citing the importance of prioritizing those impacted by the ongoing crisis. In her statement, Meghan expressed gratitude to Netflix, saying, “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.”

The show, described as a love letter to the beauty of Southern California, felt ill-timed amid the destruction caused by the Pacific Palisades wildfire and other blazes.

Just days ago, Meghan and Prince Harry were seen touring the fire-ravaged areas of West Los Angeles. The couple spent 45 minutes surveying the damage, speaking with local officials, and offering their support.

The Pacific Palisades wildfire alone has burned over 23,000 acres since it began last Tuesday, with at least 40,000 acres affected across the region and 16 lives tragically lost.
