Kanye West Calls Out Adidas Over Search Results, Criticizes Jerry Lorenzo

Kanye West has once again made headlines with a direct criticism of Adidas and its practices. The rapper took to Instagram to voice his frustration after discovering that Adidas's website appeared before his own when searching for "Yeezy.com" on Google. In a lengthy caption, West accused the German sportswear giant of attempting to suppress his brand and prevent its growth.

West shared a screenshot showing Adidas's website topping the search results, despite Yeezy being closely associated with him. He openly addressed members of Adidas, urging them to "stop" their actions, which he claimed were hindering his success. Reflecting on his past collaboration with the company, West stated that the partnership was officially over. He also referenced Adidas’s alleged attempt to freeze his accounts, calling out the company’s powerful $60 billion status.

In the post, West highlighted his efforts with Adidas, noting the significant work he did for the company. He expressed that when he stood up for himself, the company tried to intimidate and oppress him. West also pointed to a history of issues with Adidas regarding design theft and alleged oppression, well before the controversial "tweet" that contributed to the end of their partnership.

The rapper didn’t stop with Adidas. He also criticized designer Jerry Lorenzo for collaborating with the company through his brand, Fear of God. West called Lorenzo “corny and disloyal” for continuing to work with Adidas after its treatment of him, despite attending Lorenzo’s show, which he claimed resembled his own Hollywood Bowl performance.

West further discussed his grievances with individuals in the fashion industry, accusing them of using his brand for personal gain while pretending to be his friends. He emphasized that he was no longer willing to work with people who did not genuinely support him and his vision. The rapper also mentioned his own plans for Yeezy, stating that he was determined to “dominate” the fashion world, with the $20 price tag on Yeezy products revolutionizing the industry.

West shared his business success with his website, which reportedly earned $100 million in its first six months. He explained that the website was temporarily taken down to regain control of his Shopify account. Additionally, West revealed that he and his team sold over a million pairs of pods and have been working on 10 more styles in the past two years.
