Julianne Moore Reveals Secret About Filming The Big Lebowski While Pregnant

Julianne Moore recently opened up about a surprising behind-the-scenes detail from her time filming the iconic 1998 movie The Big Lebowski. Appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show on January 8, the 64-year-old actress revealed that she was pregnant with her son Caleb, now 27, during the movie's production.

Moore shared that while filming a particular scene, she was feeling very sick due to her pregnancy. “I was pregnant with my son. The first time I was pregnant. I was so sick that day," she said, adding that she was "so nauseous" she could barely move. She also mentioned the dress she wore in the scene was made of solid, styrofoam material, which added to her discomfort. "I couldn't tell anyone I was pregnant because I didn't want them to know," Moore admitted.

In addition to her son Caleb, Moore also has a daughter, Liv, 22, with her husband, director Bart Freundlich. Last year, she shared a heartfelt post on Instagram celebrating Liv's 22nd birthday, calling her "the daughter of my dreams" and expressing her love and excitement for the year ahead.

Moore also marked another milestone when she posted photos celebrating Liv’s graduation from Northwestern University in June. “We are bursting with pride,” Moore wrote, praising her daughter’s accomplishments.

It seems that motherhood has been a major theme in Moore's life, both on and off the screen.
