Jelly Roll Hopes to Mediate Eminem and MGK's Long-Standing Feud

Country artist Jelly Roll believes he may hold the key to resolving the ongoing feud between Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), which has spanned over a decade. The conflict, which began in 2012, escalated with the release of their respective diss tracks in 2018, but its roots trace back to a comment made by MGK about Eminem's daughter, Hailie, that angered the rapper.

During a recent appearance on the Flagrant podcast, Jelly Roll, who has collaborated with both artists, expressed his belief that he can mediate a conversation between the two. He shared that he sees many similarities between the two rappers and is optimistic that they will eventually reconcile. "They're gonna get together one day, eventually," he said.

While the country singer has yet to approach Eminem on the subject, he remains hopeful that the two will find common ground in time. Jelly Roll added, "I haven’t really brought it up to Marshall yet, ’cause I’m just still kind of glad that I’m still in that circumference to be able to have those conversations."

Jelly Roll also spoke about the significance of Eminem’s influence in the hip-hop world, recalling how it was a career-defining moment for MGK when the iconic rapper mentioned him in his music. He explained, "If you got mentioned in an Eminem song, it was like being mentioned in a comedy special. You’re on f–king fire. You couldn’t be hotter."

The longstanding feud between Eminem and MGK began in 2012 after MGK made a controversial remark about Eminem’s daughter. This ignited a series of diss tracks, with Eminem retaliating through several songs over the years. Despite the animosity, Jelly Roll remains hopeful that the two artists can move past their differences and eventually reconcile.
