In the second episode, available on Channel 4’s streaming service, Wood described feeling “violated” and “essentially raped” during the video shoot. “I felt so fucking violated. But I didn’t call it rape for like many, many years,” Wood said, recounting her experience on set. She explained that the music video, initially pitched to her as a scene involving blurred, sensual shots, quickly escalated into something far more disturbing.
Wood revealed that when filming began, Manson became aggressive, pulling off her clothes and leaving her in a state of emotional distress. “It just didn’t stop,” she added, describing how she ended up “sitting on the bed naked, just crying.”
In response, Manson’s lawyer, Howard King, strongly denied the allegations, calling them “demonstrably false.” He pointed out that the video was filmed in a studio with several people present and claimed that no witnesses have come forward to support Wood’s account.
The docuseries also touches on the long-running legal battle between Wood and Manson. In recent developments, Manson dropped his defamation lawsuit against Wood, paying her approximately $330,000 in legal fees. Wood has previously named Manson as her alleged abuser in 2021, while Manson has denied the allegations, calling the claims "distortions of reality."
Marilyn Manson: Unmasked is a three-part series, with all episodes now available for streaming on Channel 4. The next two episodes will air later this month.
