On Friday, the Old Spice pitchman shared his ordeal on social media, posting a photo of himself in a car packed with sentimental belongings, including flowers his late mother gifted him in 2021. He also shared a video showing flames creeping over the hills near his home.
“This day is devastating!!!! Left the hospital earlier, sick af, went home, then had to pack what I could to evacuate. As I drove away, I saw the fire rising from behind my house. It’s a nightmare!!!” Cole wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Cole had posted a picture of himself in a hospital bed on Thursday, thanking fans for their birthday wishes. However, he did not reveal the reason for his hospitalization.
The Pacific Palisades wildfire, which erupted earlier this week, has forced several Hollywood stars, including Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag, Paris Hilton, and Jeff Bridges, to evacuate. Tragically, some have lost their homes to the blaze.
The fire has scorched over 22,000 acres and remains only 11% contained, posing a continued threat to the area.
