Demi Moore's Alleged Snub of Kylie Jenner at 2025 Golden Globes Clarified by Daughter Tallulah Willis

A viral moment from the 2025 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 5, sparked speculation about an alleged snub by actress Demi Moore towards reality star Kylie Jenner. However, Moore's daughter, Tallulah Willis, has since clarified that the incident was not intentional.

The 62-year-old Moore, seen in a brief video at the event, was captured hugging actress Elle Fanning and engaging in conversation with her A Complete Unknown co-star, Timothée Chalamet. In the footage, Moore appears to bypass Jenner, who attended the ceremony as Chalamet’s date. Social media quickly reacted, with many users suggesting that Moore had purposefully ignored Jenner.

In response to the rumors, Tallulah Willis took to her Instagram Stories to address the claims. “NIPPING THIS STRAIGHT IN THE BUD—we spent New Year’s with Elle, so connecting with her after a win was a very organic thing to do,” the 30-year-old wrote, defending her mother’s actions.

Tallulah continued, explaining that Moore was overwhelmed by the warmth of the room and the attention from well-wishers following her win for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical Film for her role in The Substance. “There was no snub of any sort,” Tallulah affirmed. “Had she seen KJ wanting to congratulate her, she would have fully given her the time and space. Literally, just give it all a break and let a gal enjoy her accomplishments.”

The actress' daughter also shared her emotional reaction to her mother's Golden Globe win, saying that Moore’s genuine surprise at receiving the honor made her tear up. She expressed that the moment captured on stage was reflective of how her family sees the actress.

In a subsequent post, Tallulah called her mother her "absolute queen and muse."

Kylie Jenner, 26, and Timothée Chalamet, 28, have been dating since at least April 2023. Chalamet, who was nominated for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in the biographical film A Complete Unknown, attended the event with Jenner by his side.
