“There was so much sugar in that blood stuff,” Abbott explained, recalling the moment. He continued, describing the prosthetic bone as having a flavor similar to white chocolate. “It was gross, but it was kinda delicious,” he admitted, adding that it wasn’t something he exactly wanted, but it wasn’t terrible either.
Abbott also spoke about his first reaction to seeing himself fully made up in werewolf prosthetics. The actor laughed at the sight, admitting it was both frightening and “ridiculous.”
Julia Garner, who also stars in the film, shared her thoughts on Abbott’s transformation. She described her first encounter with the actor in his full prosthetic makeup as “weird and bizarre,” yet she soon became accustomed to it after a few days. “It was frightening, but the more I looked at it, the more I got used to it,” Garner said. She noted that what made it truly eerie was the slow transition in Abbott’s appearance. “His skin and hair changed, but his eyes were still there,” she pointed out.
Garner added that she believes the key to making something truly scary is using familiar elements, saying, “Just go with something familiar.”
