In the viral video shared on TikTok, Smith spoke to the audience, expressing frustration over the false claims and the difficulty of discerning truth in today’s world. He humorously dismissed the memes and firmly denied any involvement with Diddy or his legal troubles.
"The world we're in right now, it's really hard for y'all to discern what's real and what's true," Smith said. "I've been seeing y'all's memes and stuff. Some of that stuff's funny. I haven't addressed any of this publicly, but I just wanna say this very clearly: I don't have s--- to do with Puffy, so y'all can stop all them memes."
Smith emphasized that the rumors were false and made it clear that he had no connection to Diddy or the allegations against him. "I ain't been nowhere near that man, ain't did none of that stupid s---. So whenever y'all hear it, if somebody says that, it's a damn lie," he added.
Although Smith and Diddy have been photographed together at various industry events over the years, the actor expressed frustration that the memes had escalated to the point of needing a public response.
Diddy, 55, is facing charges ranging from sex trafficking to racketeering and coercion. He was arrested in September and is scheduled to stand trial in May 2025.
