Tori Spelling Opens Up About Single Mom Struggles and Guilt

Tori Spelling recently opened up about the challenges of single motherhood and the guilt she feels while juggling work and family life. Speaking candidly on her podcast Misspelling, the actress shared her struggles to balance her demanding schedule while providing stability for her five children.

Tori revealed that her 16-year-old daughter, Stella, often takes on significant responsibilities at home due to her packed workdays. "It’s hard knowing Stella has so much on her plate, and I can’t always be there," she admitted. Tori is also mom to Liam, 17, Hattie, 13, Finn, 12, and Beau, 7, whom she shares with ex-husband Dean McDermott.

Comparing her situation to other single moms, Tori noted the lack of external support. "Some people have nannies or housekeepers, but for us, it’s just me and the kids. That’s probably hard for others to understand, but it’s our reality."

During a heartfelt discussion with guest Dr. Hillary Goldsher, a psychotherapist, Tori acknowledged the financial instability of her entertainment career and how it impacts her family. Despite the rollercoaster, she emphasized that one thing she could always give her children was unconditional love, even as they navigate life’s ups and downs together.
