Liam Payne's Friend Faces Ongoing Investigation in Tragic Death Case

Liam Payne's friend, Roger Nores, is under continued scrutiny in the investigation surrounding the singer’s tragic death. A judge in Argentina has allowed national prosecutors to move forward with their case against Nores, despite his attorney's argument that local Buenos Aires authorities should handle the matter.

Nores maintains he has not been charged with abandonment of a person followed by death and claims Liam appeared fine when he last saw him at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel around 4 PM. However, prosecutors allege that Liam’s final hours tell a different story. According to their findings, the former One Direction member spent the day drinking heavily, starting with whiskey at breakfast, and engaging in reckless behavior, including drug use and hiring two prostitutes. Hotel staff reportedly escorted him to his room shortly before he tragically fell to his death from the third-floor balcony.

Authorities have confiscated Nores' passport, effectively requiring him to remain in Argentina as the investigation continues. Meanwhile, prosecutors are also pursuing charges against two individuals accused of supplying drugs to Liam.
