Jodie Turner-Smith Claims Joshua Jackson Isn’t Paying Child or Spousal Support

Actress Jodie Turner-Smith says her estranged husband, Joshua Jackson, has not been paying child or spousal support as promised. In new legal documents filed by her attorney, Laura Wasser, Jodie is asking a judge to make Joshua start monthly payments.

The couple shares a four-year-old daughter named Juno. Jodie is requesting $8,543 per month for child support and $28,641 per month in spousal support while their divorce is being finalized.

When Jodie first filed for divorce in October 2023, she didn’t ask for spousal support for either of them. However, she says circumstances have changed. According to Jodie, Joshua is dragging out the divorce process, which is raising her legal fees and making it hard for her to support herself and their daughter.

Jodie says Joshua earned much more money than her during their marriage and had promised to always provide for her and Juno if they ever separated. She also claims he understood how challenging life could be for her as a Black woman and single mother.

Now, Jodie accuses Joshua of breaking that promise and pushing her to accept a settlement that she feels isn’t fair. Along with child and spousal support, she is asking the court to order Joshua to pay $250,000 for her legal and accounting expenses.

The divorce proceedings are ongoing.
