Jennifer Lopez Talks About Balancing Motherhood and Her Career

Jennifer Lopez recently shared her thoughts on how she manages to be a mom while still taking care of herself and her career. In an interview with British Vogue, she spoke about playing Judy Robles in her new movie Unstoppable, where she portrays the mother of champion wrestler Anthony Robles. The movie is based on his real-life story, showing how he overcame challenges as a wrestler, despite being born with one leg.

Lopez reflected on the challenges of motherhood, saying that while she always wants to do her best for her kids, she is also a human who goes through her own struggles. "As a mom, you always want to put your best foot forward for your kids. You want to lift them up. That doesn’t stop you from being a human being who struggles," Lopez said.

Lopez has twins, Max and Emme, who are 16 years old, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. She also opened up about how her experience as a single mom influenced her role in Unstoppable. "I've been a single mom at times in my life, and I've asked, 'Am I enough for them?' The truth is, all you need is really one good parent to love you," Lopez said. She noted that Anthony Robles' achievements showed her that "you are enough."

In November, Lopez told Entertainment Weekly that she took a break from her career to spend more time with her kids after her tour was canceled. "I decided to take this summer off and be home with the kids, and it was the best thing I think I’ve ever done," she said. Lopez admitted that it was unusual for her to take a break but called it the best decision for her family.
