Conor McGregor Announces Boxing Match with Logan Paul in India

Conor McGregor has announced a surprising detour in his fighting career, revealing plans for a boxing exhibition against Logan Paul. The UFC legend dismissed rumors of an upcoming fight against featherweight champion Ilia Topuria, stating he has other priorities before returning to the Octagon.

McGregor shared that he is in "preliminary agreements" with the Ambani family to stage the match in India. “I have agreed,” McGregor said, adding that his UFC comeback will follow the exhibition.

Logan Paul, known for his WWE stardom and high-profile boxing bouts, has yet to comment on McGregor's revelation. Paul recently became a father to daughter Esmé with fiancée Nina Agdal, which has been his primary focus.

The Paul brothers continue to make waves in the boxing world, with Jake Paul recently defeating Mike Tyson and Logan previously going the distance with Floyd Mayweather in 2021. McGregor, too, is no stranger to boxing, earning a record $130 million in his 2017 loss to Mayweather.

The Ambani family, known for hosting extravagant events, is reportedly backing the fight. With a history of spending big, including paying Rihanna $6 million for a pre-wedding event, they seem poised to deliver another blockbuster spectacle.
