Cardi B Accuses Tasha K of Hiding Assets to Dodge $3.4M Judgment

Cardi B is intensifying her efforts to recover the $3.4 million owed to her by blogger Tasha K following a 2022 defamation lawsuit victory. Cardi's legal team has filed documents in a Florida bankruptcy court, accusing Tasha of hiding her assets and misleading the court about her financial situation.

Tasha previously declared bankruptcy, claiming she lacked the resources to pay the judgment. However, Cardi alleges that Tasha has been moving assets into her husband’s name or his business to evade payment. The court documents also claim that Tasha holds offshore accounts in locations such as the Cook Islands, Nevis, and Georgia (the country, not the state).

Despite pleading poverty, Cardi asserts that Tasha is maintaining a lavish lifestyle. She points out that Tasha and her husband recently moved into a $7,000-per-month luxury apartment and frequently display high-end clothing, handbags, and jewelry on social media. Cardi views these actions as evidence of financial misrepresentation.

The defamation case that sparked this dispute stemmed from Tasha’s repeated false claims about Cardi, including allegations of drug abuse, prostitution, and STIs. Cardi is now requesting the court to dismiss Tasha’s bankruptcy case and bar her from refiling for two years, allowing Cardi more time to recover the judgment.
