In a TikTok post on December 27, LaPaglia revealed, “We have exciting news. I think I’ve gained 11 lbs.” This update came a month after she disclosed that her weight had dropped to the same level it was in high school due to mental health challenges.

The influencer explained her weight loss stemmed from a loss of appetite caused by emotional stress. LaPaglia, who split from country singer Zach Bryan in October after over a year of dating, said the breakup took a toll on her mental and physical health.

“I wasn’t eating because I was physically sick from what I was going through,” she said during the BFF Podcast, adding that the situation left her feeling like “skin and bones.”

Determined to regain her strength, LaPaglia began force-feeding herself and adding calorie-dense foods, such as pasta, to her meals. She shared that it took her three months to rebuild her appetite, but now her jeans fit again, and she’s feeling healthier.

“Gaining weight isn’t always a bad thing,” LaPaglia told her followers. “It can actually be a good sign that things are going well in your life.”
