Spy Kids Actor Robert Vito Arrested on Felony Domestic Violence Charge

Robert Vito, known for his role in "Spy Kids 3D: Game Over," was arrested Friday night on a felony domestic violence charge, TMZ has learned. Law enforcement sources report that police were called to Vito's home in the L.A. area after a dispute between the actor and his girlfriend allegedly turned violent.

Sources say the incident started with a verbal argument but quickly escalated, with Vito reportedly pushing his girlfriend into furniture. Additionally, police say Vito allegedly threw his young son onto the couch and later knocked him down. Officers arrived at the scene to check on both alleged victims and noticed visible markings on the girlfriend’s body. While they confirmed that the son was unharmed, Vito was arrested for felony domestic violence based on the evidence gathered.

Vito, who portrayed Rez in the 2003 "Spy Kids" sequel, was taken into custody around 8 p.m. on Friday and booked shortly after 9:30 p.m. He was released early Saturday morning after posting a $50,000 bond. Aside from "Spy Kids," Vito made appearances in shows like "The Bernie Mac Show," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," and "Port Charles."
