Model Sues Kanye West Over Alleged Violent Incident During Music Video Shoot

Model Jenn An, who appeared on "America's Next Top Model," is suing Kanye West over a disturbing incident during a 2010 music video shoot for his remix of La Roux's "In For the Kill." According to Jenn's lawsuit, filed in federal court, the shoot at New York City's Chelsea Hotel took a troubling and dangerous turn when Kanye allegedly selected her out of a lineup of women, saying, "Give me the Asian girl."

Jenn claims that Kanye directed her to wear revealing lingerie and positioned her in front of the camera. What followed, she says, was a humiliating and violent sequence of events. She alleges Kanye choked her, smothered her face with his hands, and performed a disturbing act in which he shoved his fingers down her throat, forcing her to gag. She says this continued for over a minute while Kanye reportedly shouted, "This is art. This is f**king art. I am like Picasso."

Jenn describes the experience as feeling more like a pornographic scene than a music video shoot, claiming the act resembled BDSM fetishes and forced oral sex. She also states that La Roux later described the behavior as "upsetting" and "unsettling" after the shoot.

While the incident did not appear in the final edit of the video—Kanye's presence is only seen in the remix—the lawsuit alleges that Kanye and Universal Music Group tried to cover up the event. Jenn is suing both Kanye and the record label for gender-motivated violence, accusing them of attempting to suppress the disturbing experience.
