Michael Villella, Star of The Slumber Party Massacre, Dies at 84

Michael Villella, best known for his chilling portrayal of Russ Thorn in the 1982 cult horror classic The Slumber Party Massacre, has passed away at the age of 84. His daughter, Chloe Villella, confirmed to TMZ that Michael died on Saturday afternoon after a prolonged battle with multiple organ failure, following over a month in the hospital.

Chloe paid tribute to her father on Facebook, writing, "May you rest in peace daddy ♥️💋."

While Villella's role in The Slumber Party Massacre cemented his status in the horror genre, his career extended beyond the iconic slasher film. He appeared in Love Letters, Wild Orchid II: Two Shades of Blue, and Gotham.

Michael is survived by his daughter Chloe and his ex-wife.
