Maitland Ward Says Trump’s Ties to Religious Right Won't Benefit Adult Industry

Maitland Ward, the actress who transitioned from sitcom star to adult film performer, doesn’t think another Donald Trump presidency would benefit the adult entertainment industry. She believes that Trump’s alliance with the religious right, known for its anti-porn stance, means he’s unlikely to offer any real support to the industry.

Ward shared her perspective on the upcoming election, responding to claims from some in adult entertainment who think Trump’s pro-business approach would benefit them financially. While she acknowledges the argument that Trump’s policies could boost the economy, she questions whether that would truly help adult entertainers, given the religious leanings of his support base.

While Ward sees the economic appeal, she points out that the industry is thriving, and she’s personally in a stable financial position. She does, however, recognize the challenges faced by those feeling the pinch due to rising costs of living but suggests that any financial strain within the industry might be exaggerated.

For Ward, the economy isn't her primary concern in this election—it’s abortion rights. She recalls her disapproval of Trump’s conservative Supreme Court appointees, whose decision to overturn *Roe v. Wade* solidified her resolve not to support him.

In contrast, Richelle Ryan, another adult entertainer, recently voiced her support for Trump, believing his economic policies would put more money in people’s pockets, which could ultimately benefit the adult industry. Ryan’s admiration even led her to a bold statement, saying Trump could “grab me by the p***y,” emphasizing her enthusiasm.

Though Ward holds some liberal views, she doesn’t see herself as radically left-wing, apart from her passionate stance on sex work. As the election nears, she encourages those in the industry to vote Democrat, signaling her belief that this choice better aligns with their interests.

They argue that while she claims to be suffering from emotional distress, she has been working extensively, making it difficult to schedule the deposition. Shia’s legal team noted that FKA initially agreed to dates for her deposition but lat

Conor McGregor Faces Sexual Assault Accuser as Civil Trial Begins in Ireland

Conor McGregor and the woman accusing him of sexual assault came face-to-face in an Irish courtroom on Tuesday as a civil trial began. The case centers around allegations from a hair colorist, Nikita Ni Lamhain, who claims McGregor and another man sexually assaulted her after a 2018 Christmas party. Nikita testified that on December 8, 2018, after consuming alcohol and cocaine at a work event, McGregor invited her and a friend to continue the night at a nearby hotel. She alleges that what she believed to be a casual after-party quickly turned traumatic, claiming McGregor sexually assaulted her on a bed in a penthouse suite, followed shortly by a second assault from James Lawrence, another man present. A doctor testified to multiple injuries on Nikita's body following the incident, revealing that a tampon had to be removed with forceps. Neither McGregor nor Lawrence spoke in court but maintain that the encounter was consensual. The judge announced that the trial is expected to la
