Now, their 43-acre property has been affected by severe flooding caused by a powerful weather system. The River Thames burst its banks, unleashing 80 MPH winds and submerging roads near their estate under five feet of water. Reports suggest the flooding has overtaken much of their property, though it remains unclear if anyone has been on-site to assess the extent of the damage.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Ellen has faced such a calamity. Just last year, her former Montecito, California home was also hit by devastating floods, leading to widespread evacuations and 23 fatalities in the area.
The severity of the current damage to their new residence remains uncertain as the couple navigates another chapter of unexpected challenges.
