Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi Leave the U.S. for England Following Trump’s Election Win

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have left the United States, with Donald Trump's election win cited as a major factor in their decision. The couple has settled in the picturesque Cotswolds region of South West England, just two hours from London.

Sources reveal Ellen and Portia purchased their new home before the election but became "very disillusioned" following Trump's victory, prompting them to leave the country immediately.

Ellen, a known supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris, publicly endorsed her on social media after Harris replaced President Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket in July. Ellen expressed her excitement, stating, “There’s nothing more powerful than a woman whose time has come!!” and contributed $3,300 to Harris’s campaign.

The couple is also planning to sell their Montecito, California property, following the sale of another mansion in the area for $96 million. They are currently deciding on a listing price and timeline.

Unlike many celebrities who have threatened to move during Trump’s presidency, Ellen and Portia have followed through on their plans, marking a significant change in their lives.
