Conor McGregor Admits Infidelity, Vows to Move Forward After Civil Case

Conor McGregor is taking accountability for his past actions, expressing regret for cheating on his fiancée, Dee Devlin, while emphasizing that his behavior six years ago was consensual. The UFC star addressed the outcome of a recent civil case, admitting he should never have entertained advances from Nikita Ní Lamhain after a 2018 Christmas party.

"I should have shut the party down," McGregor admitted in his statement. "I should never have stepped out on the woman I love the most in the world. That’s all on me."

While McGregor plans to appeal the decision, he is determined to move forward. "I am beyond grateful to my family, friends, and supporters all over the world who have stayed by my side," he added.

McGregor and Devlin have been together long before his rise to fame, getting engaged in 2020. Throughout the trial, Devlin stood by his side, showing unwavering support.

The case concluded with Ní Lamhain being awarded $250,000 in damages after a jury found McGregor liable for assault. Despite the legal setback, McGregor is shifting his focus back to his career, stating he’s ready to return to training because "the fight game awaits!"
