Cardi B Reacts to Trump’s Election Win with Deleted Post, Praises Kamala Harris

Cardi B may be having second thoughts after a fiery comment about red states and the 2024 Presidential Election results. The rapper, who recently rallied for Vice President Kamala Harris in Milwaukee, shared and then deleted a post targeting Southern states that heavily supported Donald Trump. Cardi’s initial post on X featured a video where she vented, saying, “This is why some of y'all states be getting hurricanes.” However, she quickly deleted the message—likely recognizing it could stir controversy—but not before fans captured and spread it on social media.

Though she pulled back on that specific comment, Cardi didn’t stay quiet. On her Instagram Stories, she posted a more general vent, saying, “I hate y'all bad,” alongside a video of herself watching the election results unfold.

Her next post took on a more positive tone, directed at Kamala Harris. Cardi shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, expressing pride in Harris for pushing through immense challenges. She applauded the VP as a role model, especially for her daughters, proving “anything is possible.”

Cardi, who initially planned to skip voting in this election, shifted her stance in July when Harris took on the Democratic nomination. Invited to join other high-profile figures on the campaign trail, Cardi delivered a speech in Wisconsin just last week. The appearance had its share of hiccups, including a teleprompter issue that led her to read from her phone, but her enthusiasm was clear.

Despite Cardi’s efforts, Trump ultimately claimed victory, including in the critical swing state of Wisconsin. While her team declined to comment, it’s evident Cardi’s campaign experience has been a mix of highs and lows.
