Arnold Schwarzenegger's Home Targeted in Bomb Scare, No Threat Found

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Thanksgiving took an unexpected turn when police arrived at his Los Angeles home to investigate a reported bomb threat. Authorities received a tip about an explosive allegedly placed in the actor’s mailbox, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement. After a thorough search, no explosive devices were found.

At the time of the incident, the 77-year-old actor was reportedly working out, while his security team assured police that such a breach would be highly unlikely given the property’s extensive surveillance systems. Police are treating the event as a possible swatting incident, a prank designed to draw emergency responders to a specific location. No arrests have been made, and Schwarzenegger’s representatives have not commented on the matter.

Despite the scare, Schwarzenegger’s week also highlighted his commitment to helping others. Earlier, he joined his True Lies co-star Tom Arnold to distribute over 1,000 turkeys and other food items to families in need at the Hollenbeck Youth Center in Los Angeles. This annual tradition has been part of Schwarzenegger’s life for over four decades, inspired by the generosity he experienced during his first Thanksgiving in America as an immigrant.

Reflecting on that time, Schwarzenegger recalled, “When I came to America in 1968, I didn’t even know what Thanksgiving was… but people from the gym brought me sheets, silverware, dishes, and food.” That act of kindness, he said, inspired his lifelong dedication to giving back during the holiday season.

While the bomb threat briefly disrupted his holiday, Schwarzenegger’s focus on community and gratitude remained at the forefront, embodying the true spirit of Thanksgiving.
