Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, the Challengers star discussed her experience returning to play her "rusty" character in the third season of the series.
In an interview with the media, the Spider-Man star confirmed that a time jump will occur, emphasizing its importance because there’s only so much high school drama to handle before her character cheats on her boyfriend again.
She also expressed her excitement about seeing the characters outside of high school, noting how their past experiences will shape their adulthood and development in a larger world. She said she's eager to see what unfolds.
The creators of Euphoria announced that all original cast members will return for the new season, including Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Hunter Schafer, Barbie Ferreira, Jacob Elordi, Maude Apatow, and Storm Reid, among others.
In her conversation with the media, Zendaya mentioned that she doesn't know many details but was drawn to the third season because she was impressed with the script.
The Hollywood star explained, "I don’t have the exact date, but we've been collaborating with Sam (Levinson). I'm very pleased with the scripts, and we plan to start shooting in mid-January, which is still on track."
The cast of Euphoria will return for season 3 nearly three years after the last episodes aired. Seasons 1 and 2 are available for streaming on Max.
