Trisha Yearwood Confirms Sale of Tennessee Home Amid Garth Brooks’ Assault Allegations

Trisha Yearwood, wife of Garth Brooks, confirmed the sale of their Tennessee home on Tuesday, October 2, just one day before Brooks was hit with a rape and sexual assault lawsuit. The couple's mansion in Brentwood, Tennessee, which features five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, sold for $3.334 million. The property was originally listed for $4.5 million in May 2023, before dropping to $3.95 million in April and then to $3.8 million in September.

Brooks bought the 6,553-square-foot home in 2000, five years before marrying Yearwood in 2005. The estate, sitting on 4.42 acres, boasts luxury amenities, including two gated entrances, a high-end kitchen with Wolf appliances, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, and a six-burner cooktop.

The sale of the house coincided with serious allegations against Brooks. On October 3, Brooks’ former hairstylist and makeup artist, referred to as "Jane Roe" in the lawsuit, accused him of sexual assault and rape in 2019. The lawsuit details claims that Brooks exposed himself to her, made inappropriate comments, and sent her sexually explicit messages. Roe alleges Brooks often changed clothes in front of her, crossing professional boundaries.

Brooks’ legal team had filed a preemptive lawsuit against Roe, calling her allegations false and accusing her of extortion. In a statement, Brooks said they filed the suit to combat defamation and protect both families involved. His lawyers have denied most of the accusations.
