Tom Holland Shares Love for Carpentry and Sweet Gestures for Zendaya

Tom Holland recently shared his love for carpentry and the thoughtful gestures he enjoys doing for his girlfriend, Zendaya. In an interview with the Rich Roll podcast, the Spider-Man star opened up about how much he loves helping out around her house, especially when things break. Holland revealed that using his handyman skills to fix things for the Euphoria actress brings him great joy. "If something breaks in Zendaya's house, I take huge pride in fixing it," he said.

Holland also spoke about a particular project where he built cupboards and installed a wardrobe in Zendaya's guest room. He proudly noted how well the wardrobe fit into the room, perfectly complementing the decor and looking as if it was part of the wall.

The actor’s passion for carpentry stems from his grandfather, a professional carpenter, who passed down the skill to him as a child. Despite his busy career, Holland continues to pursue woodworking and hopes to one day have a property with a workshop to carry on the family tradition. "One of my goals is to have a property with a little workshop on site and keep up that family tradition of carpentry," he shared.

Though Holland modestly downplays his skills, he enjoys taking on small tasks, joking that if acting didn’t work out, he’d become a carpenter. His love for carpentry has been evident since the early days of his relationship with Zendaya, as he fondly recalls fixing a broken door in her home, a moment he believes strengthened their bond.
