Sydney Sweeney Opens Up About Paparazzi Harassment and Safety Concerns

Sydney Sweeney revealed that the paparazzi harassment she endures puts her safety at risk, particularly when photos are taken of her without consent outside her home.

In a recent Glamour magazine interview, Sweeney mentioned that photographers surrounded her Florida home and yelled at her family outside.

Sweeney recalled that photographers told her family, “If you get her to come outside in a bikini, I’ll take pictures and leave you alone.” She dismissed rumors that she invites paparazzi, saying, “Why would I want them taking pictures of me at home with my baby cousins and family around? I have photos of them hiding in kayaks in the ocean, and they stayed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. I deserve to feel comfortable and safe in my own home.”

Sweeney explained that it’s not the photographers who bother her directly, but rather when they leak her location through their photos, invading her privacy.

Sweeney stated, “When those photos are released, my safety is at risk because everyone knows where I am. Boats pass by, and I hear them say, ‘This is Sydney Sweeney’s house,’ turning my front yard into a star tour.”
