Rob Lowe Reflects on Brief Fling with Demi Moore in the '80s

Rob Lowe recently opened up about a brief fling he had with Demi Moore during the early days of their Hollywood careers. Speaking on Kelly Ripa’s podcast, "Let's Talk Off Camera," Rob revealed that he and Demi "briefly had a thing" in the mid-'80s before she became engaged to fellow Brat Pack member Emilio Estevez.

Reflecting on that time, Rob humorously described the fling as part of a "big, big sex orgy" involving the cast of the 1985 film "St. Elmo's Fire," in which both he and Demi starred. Their on-screen chemistry carried over into another film, 1986's "About Last Night," where they once again shared the screen.

Rob shared that hookups were almost inevitable when young actors worked together, saying, "Anytime you put young 20-something men and women together, hookups are inevitable." Despite their brief romance, Rob and Demi remained friends, with Rob even attending her wedding to Bruce Willis later on.
