Wilson’s cross-complaint alleges that Ghost sexually harassed the film's lead actress, Charlotte MacInnes, compelling her to stay at Ghost’s Bondi Beach penthouse and making inappropriate remarks on set. In response, MacInnes denied these claims, stating, “Making false accusations undermines real victims, and I won’t be the subject of a fabricated narrative.”
The countersuit also accuses Ghost, Gregor, and Holden of inflating the film’s budget and embezzling approximately AU $900,000. Wilson claims that when she reported these allegations to executive producer Danny Cohen, he ignored her concerns, leading to a retaliatory campaign against her by the producers.
Wilson asserts that ongoing threats forced her to hire personal security on set to complete filming. She alleges that Gregor threatened to terminate the project and fire its crew unless she retracted her complaints against Ghost.
Wilson’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, stated that the producers attempted to manipulate the situation with their lawsuit, warning that this is only the beginning and that more shocking revelations are forthcoming.
