Kim Kardashian Praises Renewed Freedom Bid for Menendez Brothers, Citing Ryan Murphy’s Influence

Kim Kardashian is celebrating the renewed possibility of freedom for the Menendez brothers and is highlighting producer Ryan Murphy's influence in pushing this legal reconsideration forward. While a hearing for Erik and Lyle Menendez was scheduled even before Murphy’s 'Monsters' series on Netflix, L.A. County District Attorney George Gascón noted that the process was sped up due to public interest spurred by the documentary.

Expressing her gratitude, Kim stated, "Thank you, George Gascón, for revisiting the Menendez brothers' case and righting a significant wrong." She added a heartfelt message to the brothers’ supporters, saying, "To the brothers' family, friends, and the millions who have been vocal supporters—your voices were heard. The media’s focus, especially with Ryan Murphy's TV show, helped shine a light on the abuse and injustices in their case."

On Friday, Gascón plans to submit documents requesting the judge to resentence Erik and Lyle, which would make them immediately eligible for parole if approved. Should the judge agree, the case will move to the California Parole Board, which would set a hearing, and the Menendez brothers could potentially be released within a few months.
