Details surrounding his arrest have yet to be disclosed by authorities. However, Durk’s attorneys, Brian Bieber and Alek Ubieta, confirmed his arrest, stating he is scheduled to appear in federal court in Fort Lauderdale on October 25.
This case follows a string of violent incidents connected to Lil Durk and his circle. In 2021, Durk’s brother, Dontay “DThang” Banks Jr., was tragically shot outside a Chicago nightclub. Subsequently, five OTF members were charged by federal authorities, with prosecutors linking the incident to the 2020 murder of rapper King Von. King Von, a close friend of Durk’s, was fatally shot by Quando Rondo’s associate Lul Timm, though those charges were later dropped.
Lil Durk, who has faced legal troubles previously, was charged with multiple felonies in 2019 related to a shooting incident in Atlanta. Although his lawyer, Manny Arora, maintained his client’s innocence, authorities initially pressed charges, only to later drop the case.
Despite his legal battles, Lil Durk has built a successful career with major hits like "Laugh Now Cry Later" featuring Drake, “All My Life” with J. Cole, and “The Bigger Picture.”
