Liam Gallagher Slams SNL Over Gallagher Brothers Feud Skit

Liam Gallagher isn't feeling the laughs after "Saturday Night Live" took a playful jab at his infamous feud with brother Noel. During the latest episode, hosted by Ariana Grande, comedians Sarah Sherman and James Austin Johnson portrayed the battling brothers in a goofy "Weekend Update" sketch, sparring over everything from "Sex and the City" boyfriends to cartoon characters.

While the bit captured the essence of the siblings' long-standing rift, Liam was far from amused. The former Oasis frontman took to X (formerly Twitter) to throw some shade, posting, "Are they meant to be comedians?" Clearly, the Brit rock legend wasn’t entertained.

For those unfamiliar, the Gallagher brothers' feud dates back to 2009, when Oasis imploded just before a show in Paris. Since then, their public squabbles have been legendary, with both hurling insults and even lawsuits at each other. Notably, Liam once referred to Noel as a "sad f***" after he skipped the One Love Manchester benefit concert in 2017.

But in a surprising twist, the duo recently announced they would reunite for a 2025 tour—a shocker, considering Liam once claimed he’d rather eat his own feces than team up with Noel again. Now, with SNL poking fun at their relationship, it seems Liam isn’t too thrilled about the light-hearted take on their rocky history.

Whether this latest jab will spark more sibling rivalry or not, only time will tell, but fans are certainly hoping the two can keep it together long enough to make the tour happen.
