Jennifer Lopez Opens Up About Cancelling Tour Amid Personal Struggles

Jennifer Lopez recently opened up about one of the most challenging periods of her life following her divorce from Ben Affleck. In an interview with Interview Magazine's Nikki Glaser, Lopez spoke about her decision to cancel her This Is Me...Live tour, sharing how her personal struggles affected her professionally.

Lopez admitted she felt devastated to disappoint her fans but made the difficult choice to focus on her children. “It was probably the hardest time of my life, but also the best time because I got to work on myself,” she said.

Although the singer took time off, she expressed excitement about returning to the stage in the future. She thanked her fans for their understanding and support, affectionately calling them “a bunch of lovers.” Lopez also reflected on the emotional toll of the year, which culminated in her divorce in September.

During her break, Lopez spent time with her family and loved ones, focusing on healing and reflecting on her life. She reassured fans that she would be back on stage soon.

The This Is Me...Live tour, originally scheduled for June to August, was meant to support her latest album. Live Nation announced the cancellation, noting that Lopez needed time to be with her family. Lopez later confirmed the news on her OntheJLo website, apologizing to her fans and explaining that the decision was necessary for her well-being.
