O'Connell first gained attention with his role as Vern Tessio in the 1986 classic Stand By Me, while Romijn gained fame as the shapeshifting Mystique in the X-Men series from 2000 to 2011. Besides his acting, O’Connell co-hosts CBS’ The Talk, where he regularly shares personal and lighthearted anecdotes. In the same post, he humorously called out a fan who criticized his untrimmed eyebrows, showing his wife's handiwork after she took on eyebrow-tweezing duties, adding, “So sick of this hate. Finally got @RebeccaRomijn to deal with it. You like?”
O'Connell and Romijn’s relationship started in 2004, leading to an intimate wedding in Los Angeles in July 2007. Since then, they've built a family together, raising twin daughters Dolly and Charlie, now 16. The couple recently celebrated their daughters' birthday in September, sharing their pride in their growing family.
Both actors continue to make their mark in the Star Trek universe. O'Connell lends his voice to the animated Star Trek: Lower Decks, while Romijn stars in the live-action Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
