Jason took to his Instagram Story to share the news, explaining that while he tends to fall in love quickly, relationships sometimes work out and sometimes they don’t—and this time, it just didn’t. Despite the split, he had nothing but kind words for Kat and her 5-year-old daughter, Mary-Katherine, saying he’ll "forever be grateful" for them.
Kat also echoed similar sentiments, confirming that there were no hard feelings involved. She acknowledged that being in a public relationship often leads to people wanting to know the outcome, whether happy or sad, and she plans to address it more in the future. For now, though, the two are simply moving on.
The pair were first spotted together back in April, though they kept their romance fairly low-key at the time. TMZ captured photos of the couple during a cozy dinner date in Tampa, where they were joined by Kat's daughter. They officially went public with their relationship on Instagram in June, sharing flirty moments and even sparking some relationship goals along the way.
While their chapter as a couple has come to an end, it's clear that there’s no bitterness between them.
