Jake Paul Slams Tony Hinchcliffe's Puerto Rico Joke, Defends Island in Pro-Trump Speech

Jake Paul is firing back at Tony Hinchcliffe after the comedian’s recent comments about Puerto Rico, calling his remarks a "bad joke" and a “low blow.” In a video supporting Donald Trump, Paul defended his adopted home, saying he didn’t find Hinchcliffe’s comparison of Puerto Rico to trash funny or accurate.

Paul, who has lived in Puerto Rico since 2021, took to social media to express his disappointment with Hinchcliffe’s joke, which was made during a recent Trump rally at Madison Square Garden. Although Hinchcliffe is known for his edgy humor, the backlash from Paul—and many others—was swift. Trump has also distanced himself from the comedian’s comments, clarifying that they do not represent his views.

Paul didn’t hold back, saying, “Tony, while I love most of your work, Puerto Rico is the most beautiful place on earth, and the people here are absolutely incredible.” He emphasized that the joke crossed a line, especially given his deep appreciation for the island and its culture.

Following his criticism of Hinchcliffe, Paul launched into a detailed explanation of why he supports Trump, encouraging his followers to do their own research before voting. While defending his stance on Trump’s policies, he made it clear that he wants people to make informed decisions based on personal choice.

In his message, Paul underscored his admiration for Puerto Rico and urged others to see it as he does—a place rich in beauty and community.
