Hugh Jackman Joins Search for Missing Broadway Dancer Zelig Williams

Hugh Jackman is using his platform to assist in the search for missing Broadway dancer Zelig Williams, who has not been seen in more than a week. Jackman, who performed with Williams on his 2019 tour "The Man. The Music. The Show.," shared a message on his Instagram Stories asking for help. He urged anyone with information to contact local authorities and expressed his support, saying, "Zelig, we love you and are praying for your safe return."

Williams, known for his performances in "MJ The Musical" and "Hamilton," went missing in Columbia, South Carolina, last week. According to a missing person flyer, the dancer was last seen at his home on October 3. His family reported him missing the next day, as it's unusual for him to be out of contact for an entire day, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.

Williams' car was later found in a parking lot near Congaree National Park. His phone reportedly sent an SOS alert to a friend in New York City, but the car showed no signs of an accident. Authorities, led by Sheriff Leon Lott, are conducting an extensive search, using both foot and aerial efforts.

While there is no evidence of foul play, investigators are not ruling anything out. The search continues, and Williams' need for prescription medication has been noted, though no further details were provided.
