Drake's Rep Denies Cease-and-Desist Rumors Amid Kendrick Lamar Feud

The rap feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has resurfaced following rumors that Drake sent a cease-and-desist letter to Lamar, asking him not to perform his new track "Not Like Us" during Super Bowl LIX. However, a representative for Drake clarified to Page Six that these rumors are "not true" and confirmed there were no plans for Drake to send such a letter.

The speculation began when Wack 100, who manages The Game and Blueface, claimed in an interview that Drake was trying to restrict Lamar’s performance. When asked if he thought this restriction would hold, Wack 100 responded, "No, if Jay-Z got something to do with it, it ain’t."

This situation recalls a previous incident involving Drake when Tupac Shakur’s estate sent a cease-and-desist letter regarding his song "One Dance," which used an AI-generated voice of the late rapper. The letter labeled the use of Tupac's voice as a “blatant abuse” of his legacy, leading to the song's removal from online platforms.

Since the release of "Not Like Us," the track has gained significant attention for its pointed lyrics, including serious allegations against Drake. One notable line suggests that Drake is attracted to underage girls, prompting a strong denial from him in his track "The Hear Pt6," where he expressed disgust at the claim and insisted he would have faced legal consequences if it were true.
