Lunches typically feature items like hamburgers, baked fish, or beef tacos, while dinners include dishes such as chicken fajitas, pasta, and roast beef. Vegetarian options like tofu, baked beans, and lentils are also offered.
On Thursday, October 10, Combs appeared in a Manhattan federal courthouse, where his trial date was set for May 5, 2025. Wearing a tan prison uniform, Combs was reportedly more animated than in previous court appearances. He hugged his lawyer and briefly smiled at his family, who attended to support him.
Combs has been in jail for nearly a month after two bail requests were denied due to concerns about witness tampering. His legal team has filed an appeal for his release before the trial. His legal troubles began after a former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, filed an assault case against him last year, leading to additional accusations from multiple women.
Though Combs pleaded guilty to charges related to Ventura, he has denied the recent allegations, including those from his September indictment. If convicted, he could face life in prison or a minimum of 15 years. Prosecutors indicated they are still gathering evidence, and additional charges could follow. The prosecution’s case is expected to last at least three weeks, while the defense plans to present its case in about a week.
