Donald Glover has canceled the remainder of his Childish Gambino tour in North America and Europe, citing an upcoming surgery and the need for recovery. The decision comes after he previously postponed the remaining U.S. dates on what was announced as his final tour under the Childish Gambino name.

Glover shared on X that after performing in New Orleans, he visited a hospital in Houston due to a concerning ailment. Following assessments, he realized he couldn't perform and later decided to cancel the rest of the tour. He expressed the importance of taking his recovery seriously, thanking fans for their love, privacy, and support.

Refunds for the canceled shows will be available at the point of purchase. While Glover did not disclose the specific health issue or details of his surgery, he made no mention of whether his planned concerts in New Zealand and Australia in early 2025 would be affected.

The tour was tied to Glover's latest project as Childish Gambino, which includes his new album, Bando Stone and the New World, a related film, and a re-release of his album 3.15.2020 under the title Atavista.
