Cheryl Hines and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Face Strain After Allegations of Affair

Cheryl Hines and her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., are facing difficulties in their marriage following allegations of Kennedy's "personal relationship" with journalist Olivia Nuzzi. Sources indicate that Hines, 59, and Kennedy, 70, have hardly spoken since the news broke two weeks ago. Hines, who has been in Europe since the scandal erupted, is reportedly feeling embarrassed by the situation.

New York magazine revealed that Nuzzi, 31, was put on leave due to her alleged relationship with Kennedy. In her statement, Nuzzi clarified that while her communication with Kennedy became personal, it was never physical and should have been disclosed to avoid conflicts of interest.

Nuzzi has also accused her ex-fiancé, Ryan Lizza, of leaking the allegations, claiming he threatened to release personal information to harm her reputation, which Lizza has denied.

Despite the turmoil, Hines was seen enjoying herself at the HBO/Max Primetime Emmy Awards Afterparty shortly before the news broke. She was in good spirits, celebrating with friends.

Since then, Hines has remained active in Europe, attending Milan Fashion Week with her daughter, Catherine Young. She supported her estranged husband's daughter, Kyra Kennedy, during the Gucci show and celebrated her birthday with her daughters on September 21, sharing a photo on social media.

Hines and Catherine then traveled to Paris for more fashion events. Photographs from a recent party show Hines wearing a ring on her left hand, drawing attention to her marital status amid the ongoing controversy.
