Reggaeton Star Jose 'El Taiger' Carbajal in Critical Condition After Shooting in Miami

Reggaeton star Jose "El Taiger" Carbajal is fighting for his life in a Miami hospital after being found shot in the head in the back of a Mercedes-Benz. The 37-year-old musician was discovered in the city’s Allapattah neighborhood, just blocks away from Jackson Memorial Health Hospital.

Miami Police Chief Manuel A. Morales provided an update, stating that Carbajal remains in "very" critical condition following surgery. Authorities are still investigating the case, suspecting that Jose may have been shot elsewhere and then driven to the location where the car was abandoned.

Inside the vehicle, police discovered two red gas containers in the trunk, adding to the mystery surrounding the crime. Miami-Dade County court records show that Carbajal had two criminal cases open over the summer, one involving strong-arm robbery and battery, and the other for resisting an officer. He had pleaded not guilty to both charges and was out on bail at the time of the shooting.

The investigation continues as police work to uncover more details.
