In 2011, Gaga famously dismissed these rumors in an interview with CNN, stating, "Why the hell am I going to waste my time and give a press release about whether or not I have a penis? My fans don’t care and neither do I." On the show with Bill Gates, she explained that her choice to ignore the rumors was deliberate. She wanted to avoid being seen as a victim and to prevent perpetuating any shame associated with such claims. Gaga emphasized her intention to use the situation to provoke thought and challenge the spread of misinformation in a way that could be more constructive.
Gaga acknowledged that she has grown accustomed to falsehoods about her since she was 20 and has often found them amusing rather than damaging. "I’m a performer. I think it’s kind of funny," she remarked.
As for her current projects, Gaga is preparing for a significant fall season with the release of "Joker: Folie à Deux," which premiered earlier this month at the Venice Film Festival and will hit theaters on October 4. Additionally, she recently topped the music charts with her debut single "Die With a Smile" featuring Bruno Mars. Gaga is also gearing up to release the first single from her forthcoming seventh studio album in October, with the full album set for release in 2025.
